What We Have Become...
The movie “Powder” was on the HBO when I went to babysit my godkids today. Knowing that the director, Victor Salva is a convicted child molester, makes the movie almost impossible to watch.
Victor Salva, confessed in 1988 to five felony counts related to having sex with a 12 year old boy he directed in a low-budget film.
On a cinematic note, you would swear the film was shot by a midget, as a majority of the shots of the actors in the film, are shot from below eye level. I don’t understand why it was done this way, perhaps the director of photography has an “under chin” fetish.
